Manicure
This is a relaxing treatment which involves the clients nails being filed and shaped, cuticles moisturised and any excess skin removed.
I will perform a soothing hand and arm massage to relax these muscles and increase circulation. At this point the client can have a paraffin wax treatment added. This treatment can help those with very dry skin or anyone who suffers with joint problems, such as arthritis, as the heat from the wax aids absorption of any moisture lotion and provides relief for joints.
I can also offer an exfoliation treatment to the client, which helps to remove dead or dry skin, allowing newer, bright skin to shine through. Combined with a hand mask, this will provide a deep, moisturising treatment for the hands.

Nail Extensions
I am now able to offer UV gel nail extensions, natural nail overlays and sculptured nails by Calgel.
An extension is a plastic type nail, stuck to the clients natural nail to add length. It is then overlaid with gel to give a high-shine finish, ready to be painted.
Sculptured nails are when length is added through the UV gel without using the plastic nail tips.
Natural nail overlays use the gel to provide a protective, strengthening coating to the clients natural nail. This is ideal if the client has naturally long nails and/or is reluctant to have them trimmed in order to add tips.
